Special effects
The majority of the special effects wer done by two different specialist studios. Encore Hollywood and Mechnology. Mechnology is
responsible for the manor explosion of 8.21. These special effects didn't come cheap and after the season eight budget cuts
the effects suffered. Charmed has always been slashed for its effects but many forget that this is a show out of its day that wasnt
as widely recognised as other programs like 'Buffy the Vampire slayer'. As you can imagine Charmed
needed alot of special effects and sometimes could have up to 100 different effects per episode. These ranged from
demon vanquishes to even reflections on windows with each frame being edited carefully for the effect.
