Reports claimed that Shannen Doherty left her TV series Charmed over a behind the scenes feud with co star Alyssa Milano. Now for the first time Shannen speaks out openly about walking out in this Entertainment Tonight cover story.

There was too much drama on the set and not enough passion for the work.
You know I’m 30 years old and I don’t have time for drama in my life anymore.

Whilst Doherty made no reference to her charmed co-star she told ET that the rumours of the rift have no effect on her.

To me its just sort of whatever, you know I will miss Holly a lot and you know that’s the only thing I want to clear up and she is one of my best friends and I love her dearly and there were never ever ever any problems between the two of us and we will always be pals and she doesn’t even know if she is going back to the show cause she doesn’t want to be there without me.

ET contacted Holly Marie Combs to ask if she indeed plans to leave the WB show but her representatives declined to comment Spelling entertainment however, told us that the actress is under contract with the series so she won’t be going anywhere. An when we spoke to Alyssa Milano’s publicists she told us quote:

'Everyone is excited about getting a fresh start this fall.'

But Shannen says that after three seasons on Charmed she felt the work was no longer fulfilling and though the actress announced her departure only last month she actually made plans to leave as early as last December.

I wanna work with actors who really really care and that want to be there every single day. I don’t want to work with people who bitch about their job and complain about it and say you know that they hate it and anything else.
